Level nine is now underway.  The blinds are now $600-$1,200 with a $200 ante.

The players are now on dinner break for one hour and thirty minutes.

On a board of and around $20,000 already in the pot, Alex faces a bet of $10,000 chips.  The tournament clock runs out while Alex is thinking and his table is crowded with onlookers.  After several minutes, Alex lays down his hand and his opponent turns over for top pair with the nut flush draw.

Tim West got his last few chips in preflop with against an opponent holding . However, the board comes and Tmay catches his set to double up to $53,000 chips.

After making an $11,000 bet, another player moves all in and Alex is forced to fold.  He has taken a couple of hits to his stack and sits on around $32,000 chips.

Steve was just eliminated from the tournament.

There are now 89 players remaining.

Level eight is now underway.  The blinds have been increased to $400-$800 with a $100 ante.
